Era epochs and civil-date navigation: The AM and Diocletian year boxes show the corresponding era year of the selected Alexandrian civil date; an era that has not yet begun is left blank, and only positive era years (1 or greater) are accepted. Entering another positive integer in either box changes the corresponding era year while preserving the selected Alexandrian month and day where that civil date exists. Epagomenae 6 is clamped to Epagomenae 5 when the target year is not bissextile. The default date is 1 Thoth, AM 1 = 29 August, 5493 BC Julian. The Anno Mundi button jumps to this epoch. The two Incarnation selectors jump to Thoth 1, AM 5492 = August 30, 2 BC Julian and Phamenoth 29, AM 5501 = March 25, AD 9 Julian. The Civil calendar panel is the active date selector; its arrow controls change year, month, day, and weekday, while the three compact navigators move to the previous or next 1 January, 25 March, or 1 Thoth.

Cycle numbering: The Alexandrian 532-year cycle runs from Thoth 1 to the next Thoth 1, with AM 1 as 1/532 and repetition after year 532. Beneath its civil-year range, the cycle box identifies the selected cycle year as common or bissextile and gives its civil length as 365 or 366 days. The Alexandrian 19-year cycle panel shows the selected year within the continuous Alexandrian lunar cycle as X/19, and the range beneath it gives the inclusive Alexandrian start and end dates of that selected cycle-year interval.

Alexandrian lunar calendar display: Only the lunar month containing the selected civil date is shown. The helper line gives the selected Julian and Alexandrian civil dates and the selected date's Luna number and lunar-month position. The Alexandrian 19-year cycle box gives the selected cycle year, lunar-year type, and lunar-year length beneath its date range. The table row gives the lunar-month number and length and the Alexandrian and Julian dates (with weekday) of Luna 1 and Luna 14. The lunation marked Paschalis is the one whose Luna 14 falls from Phamenoth 25 through Pharmuthi 23; for that month the row also shows Easter Sunday, defined here as the first Sunday strictly after Paschalis Luna 14. If the selected civil date falls across a lunar-year boundary, the calendar still resolves and shows the correct lunar month and Luna without displaying a separate boundary notice. Cycle year 19 is shown as 383 days because of the saltus lunae. The Month navigator moves to Luna 1 of the previous or next lunar month, the Paschalis 14 navigator moves to the previous or next Paschal Luna 14, and the Year navigator moves to Month 1, Luna 1 of the previous or next Alexandrian lunar year. Dates before 1 Thoth, 1 AM are outside the implemented Anno Mundi range, so the lunar row and lunar navigators are hidden and an epoch warning is shown.

Lunar construction: The calendar generates 235 lunations as one continuous 19-year sequence. Common years use twelve alternating 29/30-day months; embolismic years 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, and 19 use thirteen alternating 30/29-day months. In cycle year 19 the final lunation is shortened to 29 days for the saltus lunae. For mapping lunar age onto the civil calendar, each Alexandrian civil year contributes 365 effective lunar-counted days: Epagomenae 6 can exist as an extra civil day in a leap year, but it does not advance the schematic lunar age.

Month names: This interface deliberately uses traditional historical Alexandrian/Greek-Latinized month forms rather than modern Coptic forms. The corresponding modern Coptic and Egyptian Arabic names are shown below in both Latin transliteration and their native scripts.
